I actually kind of cringe any time I hear advice that amounts to "If you want to get into (format X) play (deck Y) because it's cheap." Sure, it's an easy way to get into a format, but unless you actually want to play Goblins, Burn, Belcher, etc. I understand your goal of keeping the deck under $100 as a starting point, but I really think that exploring more expensive options is worth looking at. If you see me online, please challenge me and I'll be happy to do battle. Thanks for joining me and I hope to play against you in Legacy online at one point. If you know your so called "weak" Legacy deck better than your opponent knows their "good" Legacy deck, in a 50/50 matchup, you will likely win, even if they have expensive cards and you don't. They have good and bad matchups, sure, but so does every other deck.

These decks can battle with "top tier" decks like Miracles and Delver. You may have a better chance at doing well with a playset of dual lands and Force of Wills, but that doesn't mean that you can't compete on an elite level. The great thing about Legacy is that it is so diverse. You can also add Daybreak Coronets to the maindeck and Leyline of Sanctity to the sideboard. If you want to improve the deck, you can improve the manabase with Savannah and fetch lands. Pretty soon you'll have a large, untargetable by the opponent, and possibly evasive beater that can make short work of the enemy in no time. Try to get out an Argothian Enchantress and a creature with hexproof as early as possible and start slapping on Auras. As opposed to the normal strategy, this list tries to be as aggressive as possible. This is obviously not your average Enchantress deck.
